Participate to the CMA 2019 Beaubassin-est Day activities and get a chance to win 100 lbs of lobster or an iPad

Participants in the CMA 2019 Beaubassin-est Community Day activities will be able to enter the Passport Beaubassin contest by having it stamped at 4 different activities on Sunday, August 18. When you have accumulated 4 stamps on your Passport, you must fill in the participation coupon, cut it out and put it in one of the boxes that will be at the activity sites. You can also bring it or mail it to the Beaubassin-est office at 1709 Route 133, CP 2002, Grand-Barachois, NB, E4P 8V1.

The deadline to receive the participation coupons is August 26 at 4 pm and the draw will be made at the regular meeting of the Beaubassin-est Rural Community Council on Monday, August 26 at 7 pm. The 2 prizes to be won are 100 pounds of lobster, courtesy of the Edmond Gagnon Ltd. plant, and an iPad, courtesy of Crandall Engineering.

9:00 am to 3:00 pm - L’Grand bazar-à-choix at the Grand-Barachois Hall

10:00 am to 4:00 pm - Outdoor exhibit of 240 photos from the SocioFoto Group's project “Du monde de par che-nous” behind the two churches in Grand-Barachois

11:00 am to 2:00 pm - Opening of the collection “200 hooked cushions for my 200th” at the Barachois Historic Church

11:00 am to 6:00 pm - Visit of the Cormier-Village Historic School

12:00 pm - Unveiling of the Pyramid of Shadow and Light on the lawn of the Barachois Historic Church

1:00 pm to 2:00 pm - Show by Art Richard at the Père-Edgar-T.-LeBlanc School

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Afternoon of music with Hubert Gallant and Countryside at the Haute-Aboujagane Community Center

1:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Antique car show at the Haute-Aboujagane Community Center

1:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Conference on the history of relations between Mi'kmaq and Acadians at the Cormier-Village Cultural Center

2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Storytelling in the Pyramid of Shadow and Light at the Barachois Historic Church

6:30 pm to 11:30 pm - Acadian Concert with Laurie LeBlanc and guests Frank Williams, Scott & Gerald Delhunty, Andy Bast and Marc Babin at the Haute-Aboujagane Community Center

8:00 pm to 10:00 pm - Musical evening "Ivresse" with Sandra Le Couteur at the Barachois Historic Church
