What's New?

Beaubassin-est will offer 8 weeks of Summer Camps in 2018

The Beaubassin-est Rural Community will once again organize the Community Summer Camps in 2018, from June 25th to August 17th. As in previous years, the Camps will allow youth to participate in new games and special events. The camps will improve young people's social skills and competencies, and allow them to spend their energies and be creative.

The first week of camps will be June 25th to the 29th at the Haute-Aboujagane Community Center, and it will be an Adventures Week. The following week, from July 3rd to the 6th, the camp will take place at the Cultural and Sports Center of Cormier-Village, and we will have different themes each day. Then there will be four weeks of camps at the Père-Edgar-T.-LeBlanc school in Grand-Barachois, covering the themes of Arts and Culture, as well as Sports. The last two weeks of camps will be at the Shemogue Golden Age Club (August 7th to 10th) and the Saint-André-LeBlanc Center (August 13th to 17th), the first under the holiday theme, while the last week will be Acadian Week.

The camps are for children aged 5-11 years old, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Camps offer a program filled with various activities, interesting presentations. Registration for all camps will take place on Wednesday, May 30th, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Beaubassin-est Municipal Building located at 1709 Route 133 in Grand-Barachois.
