Beaubassin-est gives grants to 10 community organizations

The Beaubassin-est Rural Community gives grants to 10 community organizations serving our population.The following groups receive funding from the municipality through the Support to Community Organizations Program:
GRANTS OF $500.00
- Beauséjour Resources and Family Crisis Centre
- Haute-Aboujagane Hunting and Fishing Club (2018 Family Day)
- Knight of Columbus of Cap-Pelé/Shemogue (2018 Eggs and Treasure Hunt)
GRANT OF $290.00
- Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue
GRANTS OF $250.00
- Comité Entraide Cap-Pelé/Shemogue
- Vestiaire Saint-Joseph
- Saint-André-LeBlanc Centre (breakfast)
- Grand-Barachois Hall (breakfast)
- Dance Envy (bingo in Saint-André-LeBlanc)
- Youth House in Shediac Cape
Beaubassin-est will give more grants in the spring and fall of 2018. Community groups and organizations have until March 31st and October 31st, 2018 to submit the Grant Application Form.
But please note that Council has recently adopted changes to its Support to Community Organization Policy, particularly Appendix B, the Grant Application Form. It is now mandatory to fill out the new form, other requests will not be considered. For more information, please call 532-0730 or visit www.beaubassinest.ca.
