Barachois Historic Church

About 15 undergraduate and graduate music students from across Canada and the United States are attending the 3rd edition of the Barachois Summer Music Academy from June 19 to 27. These young singers and pianists will live a unique training and development experience under the direction of experienced professionals: soprano Chantal Dionne, mezzo-soprano Krisztina Szabo, pianists Julien LeBlanc and Laura Loewen, and literature professor Robert Lapp. It will culminate with two public concerts on June 25 and 26 at 7pm, and two classes of free public masters, on June 27 at 11am with soprano Chantal Dionne and at 2pm with mezzo-soprano Kriztina Szabo. Concerts will also be presented in Fredericton on June 28 at noon at Christ Church Cathedral and June 29 at 7 pm at the Kirk of St. James in Charlottetown. Tickets: www.etemusicalbarachois.com, phone: 506.532.2976, Barachois Historic Church, at the door on the evening of the concert (adults $ 20, adult accompanied by a child $ 10, students $ 10, 18 and under free).
